Carlos Calero has over 12 years of experience in all aspects of training horses with emphasis on 2 year olds. We specialize in training and showing cutting horses. Non Pro & Amateur riders are welcome in our program. Carlos Calero is mainly focused on training two-year-old cutting and cow horses. He produces confident competitors ready to win because they understand all aspects of their job, with an emphasis on creating horses that know how to work cows naturally and confidently. CC Performance Horses is currently located at TG FROST Land & Cattle, Lady Lake Florida, we offer quality colt starting and 2YO training program to optimize the potential of your prospects for the NCHA and RCHA Futurity sales.

Funny Face Kid and Pedro Rojas made it to The NCHA Limited Open Finals 2023.
I’m really proud of this horse and Pedro for the outstanding job he has done with him.
There is a really funny history behind all this. I started this horse and trained him through his 2-year-old year. On September 2023, Mr. Rusty Smart called me and I recommended him to send Murphy to Pedro.
Pedro did his job and made it good enough. So, they made it to the Finals Top 10.
